One summer a few years back, I had a job working at a supplement store. Usually, you’ll hear me rant against supplements in favor of whole food nutrition. I do truly believe that nutrients are best when coming from real, fresh foods rather than supplements. That being said- this product is the one gem I discovered while working in the store. But first, let’s talk about water.
- What flavor is water? Answer: It’s flavorless.
- What is your favorite bottled water? Answer: Anything but Nestle.
- Why? Answer: I don’t like the way it tastes.
How is it possible for something so totally flavorless to taste so dramatically different depending on what ‘type’ of water you’re drinking? (Side note: if you’re not aware, I’m a teacher by day.) Now let’s talk about school drinking fountains. Remember how you found the water fountains with the coldest water? What about the one that shot with nice pressure instead of half heartedly trickling?
Well, near my room we have ‘the bad water fountain.’
The water just tastes funky, what can I say? I found myself torn between lugging loads of water bottles into my room each day and abstaining entirely from drinking water during the day.
This is where Eboost comes into play. I love the pink lemonade flavor because it masks the taste of my icky water perfectly! It’s also available in orange and pomegranate acai flavors. Think of Eboost like healthy Crystal Light, or whatever your powdered drink mix of choice is. I simply tear and dump a single envelope of the stuff into a water bottle and WHALA! It is transformed.
Eboost has a delightfully fizzy effervescence to it, and a kick of caffeine from green tea. The sweetness in it comes from stevia extract, and they also throw in a dose of B vitamins. B vitamins get buzz for providing energy, but really they only help if you are vitamin B deficient to begin with.
